A Sneak Peek at Brady

Here is a sneak peek of our session today. While I have loved doing so many girls as of late, it was fun to get to see some blue!

Baby Greer - 4 months

It's fun to see how big she has gotten in the pictures. We are blessed enough to see her on a weekly basis, but comparing the pictures from when she was 5 weeks old, there has been so much change! This little one definitely matches her name's meaning--aware!

Newborn Vivian

What a precious baby...and fun to work with one so calm and not too squirmy! She would just gaze my way while I worked :)

And I just had to include an enlargement of this...as I thought was so cute...I can only imagine her personality as a two year old!

Sweet and Beautiful Taylor--4 months

I have loved my little neice since she was born, yet I found myself adoring her even more after this photo sessions. It was so fun to see her personality come to life for me--(as I know she is always showing it for her mommy and daddy)

It was fun to watch my son hand flowers to her...as is one of his favorite things to do for me to show his love.

I love the way they are staring each other down!

A Day of Laughs with Friends and Family

What a fun day this was... so many laughs as family and friends unite and have fun in front of the camera.

Thanks Melissa for letting me practice with your girls...it was fun and here is just a small sample! We did capture some of this sweet baby, although she wasn't all that happy about having her pictures taken!

I asked her to close her eyes, then she started showing me how she says her prayers...so precious!!

So I have to admit, by this point my little guy was getting tired of all the pictures. However once a bag of M & Ms are within sight, it's amazing at how cooperative he became :)

A great way to keep a 2 year old contained for pictures :)

The Name

The name I chose as I begin this adventure--Hands and Feet--has meaning to me on multiple levels. The day I was brainstorming for names, the Audio Adrenaline song "Hands and Feet" was stuck in my head, yet for no reason..as I have been only been listening to children's music the last couple years since the birth of my son. Yet this idea struck a chord with me as I have always loved hands...not so much feet, until those baby toes came along, then I fell for those cute baby feet...fitting so small in the palm of my hand. And on the most important note, my faith calls me to be the 'Hands and Feet' of God. As I begin this journey, I seek to dedicate myself to His service. I seek to touch the lives of others through my joy of photography...helping them to treasure the moments and gift of life we have been given.

The Beginning...

After the wedding, after the vacation, after a child has grown, pictures are the evidence we have to hold onto along with our treasured memories... I have always loved pictures. Being surrounded by people and places I love brings happiness to my soul. However, it has just been most recently that I have taken this love and passion to next level.

My husband so graciously purchased a camera for my birthday. While he imagined I would play and toy with it a little, we have both been surprised how I have become somewhat addicted to it. Granted, I am still at the beginning stages, learning how to use all the different settings, but Oh, what fun! At night while I should be sleeping, the wheels in my mind start turning 100mph of all the things I could do or need to work on learning. Thankfully I have dear friends that are willing to let me use their baby for my first model. I will have a link to some announcements and cards I have designed....coming soon, but in the meantime here are a couple samples!
